SOAC board members will meet with the Ashland School District to pursue a city-wide survey of sixth-grade parents on the swim skills of their children.

• Parents of all 6th graders will complete the survey, based upon their knowledge of their child’s capabilities

• No actual swimming will be involved. The survey is online and takes less than a minute.

• SOAC will tally, compute and share results with ASD, APRC, and other appropriate agencies

• SOAC will use results to help plan how the new Daniel Meyer Pool can best promote swim safety.
